Hi James, I am just catching up with everything that has been put on the back-burner whilst we moved from Bagshot to our new home. I must say that my previous perception had been that the agent's job was simply to market a property and secure a sale, and may be with other agents that could be true. However, in our case it was the effort and work both Alan and yourself put in after this stage that made all the difference - I think that without this extra work and the initiative/knowledge exercised, the whole chain would have collapsed on at least two, separate occasions.
